For added visual interest, grazing toe-kicks can accent textures on materials like stone or wood, enhancing depth without overwhelming the space. In traditional applications, low-level cove simulation can support or even replace downlighting—ideal for kitchens with exposed ceilings or limited overhead space. In rooms with tall ceilings, over-cabinet lighting draws the eye upward, washing the ceiling and enhancing the sense of scale. For forward-throw accent lighting, we recommend Luminii’s Kendo 45M Static White with frosted lens (available in damp or wet-rated versions).
