JOB DESCRIPTION

The Production Worker is responsible for assembling, testing, and preparing LED lighting fixtures in accordance with established production procedures and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble LED lighting fixtures and components according to specifications, work instructions, and production requirements.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials to specified dimensions using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Perform soldering, drilling, sanding, and other assembly-related tasks.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment, including miter saws, to cut aluminum and other materials.
• Inspect and test assembled lighting fixtures to ensure proper functionality and compliance with quality standards.
• Follow verbal and written instructions to complete assigned production tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and established manufacturing practices.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet production deadlines.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively; prior experience preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing production needs.
• Basic computer skills are a plus but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to understand work instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to maintain regular, reliable attendance consistent with business needs.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements associated with assembly tasks.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and handle materials and equipment as required.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move materials weighing more than 50 pounds, with appropriate assistance or lifting equipment as needed.
• Ability to work safely around moving mechanical parts, machinery, and production equipment.
• Ability to work in an environment where noise levels may be elevated.
